Classical Korean Literature for Advanced Korean Learners
This book was designed to help advanced learners of Korean expand both their language proficiency and critical thinking skills through the study of classical Korean literature. It is centered on representative works of classical literature that are widely taught in Korea’s middle and high school curricula, while also introducing carefully selected texts that Korean language learners have had relatively few opportunities to encounter in actual classroom settings or learning environments. Through this approach, the book aims to provide learners with an opportunity to engage with classical Korean literature not only as an object of language study but also as a valuable resource for reflection and intellectual inquiry.
